I think the Sorrento Diagnostic test is well overdue to get EUA approval. The longer they take the longer this virus will linger around. Someone with some authority needs to get this pushed through. Experts keep saying that we don't have adequate testing. The solution is here.
Congratulations on the website; I gather it is new or very recent? I follow SRNE for about 3 months; and a few others. The idea here was sprinkling a few, like Heat Biologics too; but the focus on Sorrento having a 'portfolio of solutions'. I do not know the politics of this (there should be none); and assume you're referring to the 'earlier' 8 minute test; not the 30 minute Columbia Univ. test? Clarify a bit perhaps; because if the earlier one or the antibody injection (or Pill??) definitely. Cheers!
There are politics in everything and when I asked this question the Saliva test wasn't even on the radar at the time. I was referring to the antibody test kit which they submitted for EUA approval 2 months ago. However, the saliva test kit for Covid really begs the question of whether or not its adequate enough to help reopen the economy.
I think the biggest obstacle for the saliva test kit will be if they will be able to mass produce a test that is affordable so that individuals could test on a weekly if not daily basis.
